I’ve been taking photos of white cars for ages. I had no idea why I did, but this coloring book gave my obsession for blank canvases a purpose. CAR BLANCHE is a coloring book for everyone, artists and non-artists. Drawing, collaging, burning, cutting, this book should be a book that represents freedom.

Photography is an act of COPYRIGHTS, but this isn’t.
CAR BLANCHE is a book where everyone can use these photos,
just the way they want. No rules.

There was also an EXPO for the release of CAR BLANCHE at NUMMER18 in Hasselt, Belgium.

Together with local artists who created physical trucks into their artform this exposition really came to life. The community table at the gallery was used for visitors to create their own truck on paper, and showcase them immediately.

A small intervention made this exposition a community driven exposition, where a low threshold was key.
