APPRECIATE THE UNAPPRECIATED.

This collection of photo's are part of an ongoing project named 'Appreciate the unappreciated', an attempt to reveal overlooked aspects in urban environments.

As a photographer we always tend to look for stories behind an image. A narrative within abstract images will give the viewer more freedom in their thinking pattern, because the image is not an obvious representation of reality, it will create a sense of freedom, and wonder.

These visually appealing images give the audience a sense of perspective and abstraction,

in which everyone can create it's own narrative. A graphic vision on the mundane, an interesting look on the ordinary.

For me as a photographer it's important to focus on mundane objects and locations, familiar but overlooked places that are passed by and overlooked.
